Loan Cancellation

The Loan Cancellation screen (`cancel-loan.php`) is used when a loan must be cancelled before or shortly after disbursement, according to product and regulatory rules.

Primary User Story

As an operations officer, I want to cancel a loan request or recently disbursed loan in a controlled way, so that balances, fees and customer communication stay consistent with policy.

Key Use-Cases

  • Customer cooling-off request within allowed window.
  • Disbursement failure or duplicate disbursement detected by reconciliation.
  • Internal decision to cancel due to KYC or fraud concerns.
